2019 was an exciting year for CyberLock.

We celebrated our 20-year anniversary with the release of several exciting new products, including CyberKey Air 2, FlashBox, CyberKey USB, CyberLock key tube lock, CyberLock traffic cabinet lock, ValidiKey 2 Plus, FlashLock Software Enhancement Module, the Dynamic Tags Software Enhancement Module, and more.

We also attended 8 tradeshows, spanning a variety of industries and cultivating exciting new leads. 2019 was a momentous year in a few important industries for CyberLock. CyberLock saw several new installations in schools across the country, increasing security and accountability.

Another key market in 2019 was the traffic industry, where CyberLock saw tremendous growth and interest from Transportation Departments in the United States. Internationally, CyberLock expanded its already strong presence in telecommunication and critical infrastructure.

Headquartered in Novi, Michigan, ITC Holdings, Inc. is the nation’s largest independent electric transmission company, serving an area of nearly 80,000 square miles in five states. ITC operates overhead and underground transmission lines that carry electric power to more than 13 million people.

Concerned about vandalism, theft, and the potential for domestic or international acts of terrorism, ITC has taken extraordinary steps to secure their physical assets in order to maintain the reliability of their bulk electric system.

Robert Blickensdorf, ITC Security Manager, says, “We needed a system that would eliminate the risks associated with the duplication of keys and assist us with Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) compliance by tracking contractors and employees that go into locations that contain critical cyber assets.” ITC wanted to know where each key had been used, how it had been used, and by whom. They were looking for a product that could be integrated with the sophisticated security equipment and systems they already had in place.

Following the launch of the new CyberLock Partner Program and Partner Portal in 2015, the CyberLock team has worked hard to incorporate your helpful feedback as we continue to make improvements. We want to thank the many partners that provide us with valuable feedback regarding the CyberLock channel. Based on your input, we have implemented a number of changes for 2020, including an expanded 2-year warranty on locks and keys, a new annual support structure designed to connect CyberLock customers with their reseller and new drop ship charges. We believe these and other improvements will help CyberLock partners win deals, reengage with existing customers, and generate recurring revenue streams.

Expanded Warranty on CyberLock Hardware

For over 20 years, CyberLock has brought electronic access control to some of the harshest environments in the industry. CyberLock has always been manufactured and assembled in the USA and the reliability of our products is a source of pride. We stand by the quality of everything that we produce at our Corvallis headquarters.

To demonstrate our commitment to quality, we are extending the limited warranty on CyberLock cylinders and CyberKey smart keys. As of January 1, 2020, CyberLock cylinders and padlocks, and CyberKey smart keys will come with a two-year limited warranty!

As part of this change, we have updated our service repair and replacement fees. The new service fees available on cyberlockteam.com are also effective January 1, 2020. All product received for service after January 1st will be repaired or replaced according to the new fee schedule, regardless of the original date of purchase. Any CyberLocks and CyberKeys purchased prior to January 1st are covered by the previous, one-year warranty. If you have questions or concerns, please contact a CyberLock sales team member.
