A WORD FROM
THE PRESIDENT
In our last newsletter, I shared my excitement for the release of two new CyberLock products, CyberLock Blue padlock and CyberKey Go. I am proud to announce that both products have already received numerous awards including Security Today's Platinum Govie Awards, honoring outstanding government security products. These two products in particular were inspired by listening to our critical infrastructure and high-security customers. If you have a customer with unique security challenges, please let us know. We would love to help find a solution!

Technical Tips from

System Health Check

Routine customer system health-checks can be advantageous for several reasons. Getting ahead of issues before a customer has a security concern or system failure can save you time in the long run and helps to maintain a happier customer base. A health-check can also be a great way to see if personnel have changed and identify when more training is needed. An overview of newly available equipment and examination of aging equipment often leads to new equipment purchases.

Note: The following list is not intended as an exhaustive list.
Check for unprogrammed locks. Get them programmed.
Clear change icons for locks, keys and communicators.
Verify Master keys have the correct access codes for the locks they are intended to open. Are access codes in locks matching with appropriate master keys?
Key inventory – Have any keys been lost?
Can keys that have been expired for long periods of time be removed?

Maintenance for high security installations:

Download locks once a year or sooner to limit data loss from lost or damaged keys
Access code change (rotation)
Unissued keys of any type need to be updated to clear access
Shorter key expirations ( ~7 days or less)
Utilize cache expiration for eligible communicators
Phone Compatibility

We are proud innovators of over 433 electronic lock designs and a multitude of key and communicator options. In addition, we offer a range of apps that improve the user experience and versatility of the CyberLock system. With the sheer number of mobile phones now available on the market, we want to remind you to double check customer phone models to ensure compatibility with the CyberLock solution.
