A WORD FROM
THE PRESIDENT
CyberLock has two milestone product releases scheduled for delivery in 2021. In addition to our next generation of CyberLock cylinders, I’m excited by the potential of our Flex II modules. We’ve also explored new ways to connect with potential end-users and generate leads for you. We are in the process of publishing a series of white papers, ads, and videos that illustrate why CyberLock is a great solution for critical infrastructure facilities. Please contact us if you have questions on how to best support water and power utilities, telecom operators, or airports.

TECHNICAL
SUPPORT TIPS

Best Practices to Resolve Issues Faster

Stay on one issue until it’s resolved.
Trying to solve more than one issue at a time can be confusing for all parties.
Define the issue. Using the serial number of the device to investigate an issue is helpful to keep focus on the issue. Sometimes the names/location in the database can be incorrect.

Example: a software admin may have typed in the wrong name for a lock or the lock was replaced with a new serial number and the software was not updated.

Gather steps to recreate the issue.
Recreating the issue will help define the issue. It also provides the ability to test across systems. Occasionally, issues may be related to software or firmware version differences.
Implement solution. If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again!
We are here to assist. 8:00 am to 4:30 pm M-F, PST at (541) 738-5500 and email us at support@videx.com
