CYBERKEY BLUETOOTH FUNCTIONALITY – CyberKey Blue 3
|
| Bluetooth compatible CyberKeys have many options to fine tune their use for customer needs. The following Tech Tips are related to the CyberKey Blue 3 (CKR-BLUE3).
Maintaining a connection (Blue 3 only) with CyberAudit-Link on a web-enabled Android or iOS device allows the key to automatically update, download (audit trail) and close Missions.

The Portable Link must have the option “Maintain connection with CyberKey Blue 3” enabled and the Blue 3 must have “Bluetooth always connectable” enabled. |

The Blue 3 will send a notification to the device 10 uninterrupted seconds after an event has occurred, to trigger a download attempt. |
Require Active Bluetooth Connection to Open a CyberLock adds an additional layer of security which requires the Blue3 key to have an active Bluetooth connection to the web-enabled device (Android or iOS) before the key is able to open a CyberLock. This setting does not require the device to be regularly connecting or connected to the server, but only ensures the device and CyberKey are maintaining a Bluetooth connection. Meaning data communication to the server isn’t necessary for access.
